Arrangements

Hi everyone. It's Stephanie, Shawn's wife, and Candice's CDH friend. I spoke with Candice today, and they have arrangements all set up. Jackson's funeral will be held at the Davis Memorial Funeral Home in Brownwood Texas on Wednesday. It will be a small ceremony with close family and friends. Here is what Candice has suggested for those who are interested in sending flowers or making a donation...

Flowers can be sent to the funeral home at 800 Center Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801.

A good friend of theirs has also set up a Memorial Fund. Those details are...

Jackson Beal Memorial Fund
Texas Bank in Brownwood
325-649-9200
#417300
PO Box 1429
Texas Bank 405th Ave.
Brownwood, TX 76804-1429

She also suggested that you can make a donation through Breath of Hope (http://breathofhope.bwdsandbox1.com/) or Cherubs (http://www.cdhsupport.org/) in Jackson's memory.

Candice said that she would be on later tonight to post more. Please continue to send your comments, love and and especially prayers to/for them. Their hearts are hurting right now!

Love,
Stephanie

  3. Candice and Rob, I am friends with the Studdard family and have walked with them through their NICU journey. Our family lost our dear son John just 15 weeks ago and we understand your grief. Please know you are in our prayers and that you are not alone.

  9. Candice and Rob, I am Shawn's mom, so I have kept a close watch on your journey. Jackson was such a fighter and a beautiful baby, and it saddens us all to feel your heartbreak and loss. Never a time goes by that I rock Kamryn and wonder at how/why her little body made it when others do not. Needless to say, we will never take her for granted and marvel that she is still here. That makes the loss of each CDH baby more painful to us because we cannot imagine the pain you bear. At the same time, we also know that Jackson is free from pain and certainly God and his grandfather have wrapped their arms around him and given him special wings. He will always live in your hearts and in the hearts of those who followed your story. Just know that many prayers continue to flow for you from the Studdard family to your family. May God bless you and help you to find peace in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Jackson's life did make a difference! Much love, Ann
